Hey everyone, so for my first blog I want to talk to you about what I was loving during the month of September. This was a crazy month. I had pre-season practice for tennis, then a transition to school, with the occasional special occasions and holdiays mixed in. It was a hectic month, but I was able to explore into the depths of my makeup collection, and other things as well.
Let's start out with makeup. I have been loving my NYX jumbo eye pencil in milk. It really helps the colors of my makeup pop, and this brightness really lasts all day. (Make sure you wear a primer underneath though, because it can crease!)

Next thing I have been loving is the Smashbox Camera Ready Ful Coverage Foundation. I really like the coverage it gives for under-eye circles or darkness. It also covers up the veins that show through my very thing eyelids, which I love. It can be a little cakey for acne or spots, but if you need a quick fix, it will do the job.

Believe it or not, my next favorite is my Too Faced Summer Eye Pallete. I know it is already fall, but there is one color in there I absolutely love (with two I switch on and off with using with it, depending on the look!)

This favorite color is Sugar Sand. The pictures do not do it justice. It is a chmpagne pink color that brightens my eyes perfectly, without too much shimmer, and barely any sparkle. It is definitely pink, which I have found that pink or pinky shadows do not flatter my skintone. However, this shadow is perfect. The tone is perfect. If I am doing a neutral look I will put Toasted Coconut in the crease. If I am doing a look with a pop of color, I will put Plumeria onto the outer 1/3 of my lid and blend a neutral, skin-toned color from my Lord and Taylor Pallete into my crease.
A perfume or body fragrance I have been loving is the Victoria's Secret Fantasies Fragrance Mist in Sheer Love.

I got this as set from a friend and I enjoyed it but I preferred the other fragrances in the set. But all of a sudden I decided to use it when I wanted something not as strong and this is amazing. It's not too sweet and has very intersting notes. It is definitely a little floral. I am absolutely in love with this light scent!
Another scent that is to die for is Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin by Bath and Body Works. I have the hand sanitizer. When I first smelled it I was completely drawn to the smell. It is by far the best smelling sanitizer because the scent is soooo interesting and yummy! I am totally tempted to go back to the store and buy the soap or lotion. I just want to bathe in the scent...literally!!! Haha!

My last fragrance related favorite is the candles from Bath and Body Works. I have been loving a total of four scents! I went a little overboard at their store, but is defintely worth it since fall is the best season and it has the best scents and atmosphere. So I might as well list all four...
First off is Pumpkin Cupcake. I bought this one first and absolutely loved it. I am not really a pumpkin person but I definitely love candy and desserts. The buttercream frosting part of the candle is what makes it the best candle to burn in the kitchen while doing homework. It is an instant destresser!

Next is Apple Crumble. This is another bakery scent. It smells like very sweet apples. You can even smell the cinnamon. I would also highly recommend this one.

Another apple scent is Spiced Cider. And it smells exactly that: sweet cider with this spicy note that fills the air. At first I did not like it but once I burned it, the spiciness was not as potent and created a really nice scent throw.

Last but not least is Autumn Day. This is a very refreshing yet intersting candle. This is probably th most relaxing and calming candle to burn. I actually went outside a few weeks ago and burned this so I can expeerience the smell of a true Autmn day well before Fall arrived.

That's the favorites for this month! Hopefully next month I can take my own pictures, but for now, you can follow the link provided to find where the photos came from. Also I hope to film my video next time. It can be found on my Youtube : http://www.youtube.com/user/raediance04?feature=guide
I will talk again soon with my next blog post or video.
XOXO Rachel
